When You are Ready - A Self - Healing path to BE-ing

I offer this Blook (Book Blog) as a tool for anyone to use. I am not a mental therapist, I am someone who has worked through many things over the course of my life. I have experienced how my choices have affected my wellbeing both negative and positive. The key points came to me in the form of a meditational download, I accepted this task for me to serve as a guide. It is my hope, in doing so, to help others toward healing, self-discovery, and healthier personal choices. Some may wish to go through the book privately before experiencing the process in a closed group setting with a facilitator. As you reflect on your own life experiences, as I did, one goal would be to become aware of what is behind our emotions and reactions to these personal experiences. By exploring the choices, we have made in relation to our life experiences, I offer some actions and directions to help with your healing process.

Before proceeding I wish for this to be known. I do not speak in 'PC' terms. I personally do not believe it helps anyone. Speak your truth. If it matters to the person you are talking to they will pick it up and put it to use. If it does not speak to you or does not pertain to you, leave it where it is and walk away. That simple. Choices. Freedom.

Like the Nautilus, each segment of our life is a building block to who we are/become. What we allow to stay in those segment is our own personal choice. This Blook is about cleaning out every segment to attain the you that you want to be.

Healing and Change

In order to grow, heal, or change. There are actions that are taken by you/yourself. Without these actions it is difficult to affect change.

Compromise, Actions, Routine, Accountability, Manageability, Excuses

If you are in a difficult situation and don’t see any action you can make, Compromise by asking for help, that in itself is an action. Create a routine, there are great apps to help or set a time of day that you know is always consistent. Morning if you are one that takes time to have breakfast and prepare for the day. Add journaling time. Start with 5 minutes if it’s all you can muster. Be accountable for your time, push yourself when you can, you are the one in control of it. Make it manageable so as not to be overwhelmed. Try not to make excuses for not continuing.

EX: You have an issue and you want to heal but in order to do so you have to change a habit (let’s use food). You eat cheap processed food because it’s easy, good food is too expensive or isn’t in your home. How can this be managed? How badly do you want to be healthy? Let’s look at manageability and check yourself on the excuses. There is a difference between being healthy and skinny. A big one. People come in all sizes for a reason. Health is not a shape, it’s a state of being. That is not to say there isn’t an overweight condition for some and could be addressed in part with these tools.

Health is not only about food as in the example. It pertains to everything. YOUR:

All of it, the whole package needs to be looked at in order to really grow, heal, change and make it stick.

Step 1

Take some time to reflect on this for a bit. Write a paragraph or at least some sentences about what you identify as an issue for you and what is preventing you from forming a plan of action to make changes.
